Do you think they should have check points with pat downs and bag checks at all sporting events or is it going to far and infringing on our freedoms?

I personally believe once you take that step into giving up your freedoms where do you stop? Are we all guilty until proven innocent now?

I think that check points at sporting evens are absolutely necessary. You have to wait longer in line to get in but it is way safer. I personally feel safe whenever I see check points around.

Sporting event are a big target , with so mush on money in sport that are lots of reason for people to kill some on there . There should be the highest number check points at these events

I agree - anywhere where there are thousands of people congregating at set times is a viable target. It's unfortunate that this includes sporting & concert events, but it's a fact of life.

But I suspect, as with everything else, authorities will remain complacent until something big happens, and then they will have a crack down. Just as they did with domestic air travel security after 9/11

So we should remove as many freedoms as necessary for a flase sense of security?

Maybe we should get rid of all cars so 10,000-20,000 people a year don't die.

Maybe we should ban all cancer causing carcinogens so hundreds of thousands of people don't die each year.

Unfortunately you are falling into the "Fear" trap that makes you accept these attacks on Liberty.

Benjamin Franklin - "Those that can give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither Liberty, nor safety."

Terrorists are often looking for venues where many people come together and where there is minimum security. I therefore agree with increased security at events such as this.
