Is there a solution to *** Laden and his cronies? Are they after money, power, political rule, or just the destruction of Western culture?

There may be but I do not think its going to be within our life times. The first part of the puzzle has to be the stabilization of the middle east

I don't think the US administration cares too much about *** Laden and Al Qaeda unless they need to give a video to the media to boost support for the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and the War on Terror. The CIA even closed down the task force that was in charge of finding him.
The US has built permanent military bases on Muslim land. What would Americans do if other countries came into thier country and built military bases. They have been messing with the Middle East for decades. You can go back to 1953 and Operation Ajax when the CIA overthrew democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh in order to help BP get a monopoly of Iran's oil.
Now they are doing the same thing in Iraq and trying to force the Iraqi government into implementing the Iraqi Oil Law which will give 83-93 % control of Iraqi oil to 2 US oil companies and 2 British oil companies.
They use the talking point "They hate us for our freedoms" because the majority of the people will fall for it.
Do you think maybe they hate because this is how the US treats civilians driving by in their cars and they hoot and holler because they wasted some people as they record it...

Do you think Iraqis are fighting back because they have to?

Yep you got it. It is not about finding anyone and making a better place for those people it is about oil and that is all.

I just feel sad that we have to go so low just to get some drops of oil. I think that we could have found already other alternative fuels with all the money already spent in this war.

possible outcome can only be mass destruction and countries wiped out.. thats why i support American viewpoint to finish off the threats by all means possible before they get you

The oil companies and the motor industries have alternatives already set out, but to implement them will bring around global de-stabilization. They are just waiting for when the price is right!

I have been in Afghanistan and there are a surprising large number of people who support Obama simply because they feel that the West is occupying their country.

I recently read something that troubled me. I read that there was a connection between the U.S. Government and Al Qaeda. How true this is I am not sure I do not necessarily believe all I read, but it has put some thought in my mind. They said they were hired by the government, and that it got out of hand and now that is why the government has to take them down before the truth gets out.
Just food for thought, is it possible they would do something and lose control. Absolutely, cause I believe that is why certain people go missing.

I have read so many of these strange and unbelievable stories but I really can not believe that the US government did in fact hire Al Queda to attack its own cities and citizens.

Though these stories as quite shocking but you never know-politics is the worst game and the people who are into it have no moral values left to their credit. So any thing can be expected from the politicians. We are just not able to get the real picture.
